Chimichaunga Cheesy Burrito!
Apparently there’s something to this television thing. The Channel 8 piece aired a couple of times last week, and I heard it was on again this past Monday. Sonny said that he’d gotten a call from a friend Tuesday to tell him that he’d just seen him in a clip on Cold Pizza on ESPN2 and a guy wanders by the table last night and said that a friend of his from Kentucky had seen the clip! Media exposure gets us our first Natural Sellout in quite a while. And here I thought it was just lights and wires in a box.
An incredible night of Crab Racing. Giganomous crowd (SRO), incredible energy. Listen to this- one Chainsaw Sister, two Fokkers, no Jim & Brenda and like Three Facial Shotters. Most of the rest were New or Semi-New Racers (at least that’s the excuse I’m using for not knowing who they were). For a race row full of first-timers, they were pretty well behaved. Not many Pointers at all. Al, Joe, Annie, and Gina with a group of friends in the First Base Line Field Level Boxes and The Original Sarah with some new Racers down the Third Base Line. Facial Shot Racing was in the in the Left Field Bleachers, and a group of Non-Racing Marion Fireman in Center. Race Row, as well as all the Skyboxes were chock-full of Newbies, save the lone Chainsaw Sister.

So there you have it. The Newbies pull the Powell Doctrine on the Crab Racing World and take all but 4 of the 21 races. Unfortunately for them, Facial Shot blasts them in the Finals and takes the top prize.
Superhero Crab Racing on the 21st. Ought to be pretty good. The new racers will know some of the stuff, and we’re due for some old racers to put in an appearance. I’ll probably throw in a copy of the movie if I can find one. All I can say is get there early.
ESPN2! How messed up is that? If this keeps up, Sonny will end up with a weekly half-hour show on the Ocho!
