Beers Of The World

Hoy Hoy,
Greetings from the compound. Tell Mark he’s off the hook for now, as a technical issue has confounded my efforts to extract the video of what has to be one of the top seven covers of “King Of The Road” I have ever seen. Heartrending. (the same technical issue is keeping me from putting up “the Wave” that we shot tonite).

Great crowd tonite. Very Big. Very loud. After last time’s run of Independent Racers, the teams made a return, with pretty fair results. Tighter Than A Banjo String Racing had the left field line as well as the third base boxes. The Facial Shotters had another nice turnout in the left field bleachers. Ashley seemed to be in charge of a team in search of a name in the first base boxes, extending right up to race row. Counterclockwise around the table from there, it was Mike and Sheila in their usual places, a couple more TBSers, and a couple of Virgins, Mike and Aletha (she’s tall), finishing off the row. The Skyboxes were full as well, lots of new people.

Steve doing the cinematography. Ricky Four Inch behind the bar. Nelia in the kitchen. Rhonda on the floor. Despite what you’ve heard, tonite it’s (sorry Leslie)-

Third week in a row the Eight Crab waits five races and then wins the sixth. It appears the fix is in. Teams made a comeback with Fabulous Leslie getting third for the TBS Team, Buddha putting FSR in second, and Kayla getting first. Kayla was a TBSer as well (although you’d never get her to admit it).

Possible Train Crab Racing on the Seventeenth and a special Halloween Show with costume contest on the Thirty-first. You may have to make an appearance that week.

Hope you can join us for 1812 Sunday morning. Capital K is driving in from West LA and Judge Catherine is coming up from Indy. Doug and Rhonda are going to join us as well, so it looks like a crowd.

Ciao for nao
