Chimichanga Cheesy Burrito!
Greetings from Casa dos Gatos! Another wonderful evening in the ever widening world of Professional Racing Crabs. The Chainsaw Sisters Racing Team takes a little road trip tonite to the bright lights of Hoagland Indiana. Whitasita and I make the trek to the Three Kings Restaurant for a little dinner and a little warm up race before the Winter Season opens on the 12th in Marion.
Got there with some time to spare so we grabbed a couple of stools at the bar to get a bite to eat. I went for the Fish’n Chips (sans the malt vinegar) and Whita decided on the Prime Rib Sandwich, which was enthusiastically endorsed by the gentleman to my immediate right.
Standing room crowd and a Sellout, not a Natural, but hardly anything is anymore. Eight o’clock start. I imagine that gives the families on the other side of the restaurant time to clear out. Mike made it. I believe he’s the oldest known surviving Crab Racer in competition (which sounds really bad, but he’s not that old). Greg, Nancy, Danni, Susan, Sarah, Sheryl, and Jason make up Race Row, although Race Row at the Three Kings is more of a concept, than a finite thing and the people at the table seemed come and go through the evening. Dave’s your Crab racing Host, Becky’s your Bartender, and Jill’s on the floor (SERVING US ALL!). LIVE! FROM HOAGLAND IT’S-
