All I know is that Hoagland IS ALWAYS WORTH THE DRIVE!!! These people love their Crab Racing. WHITASITA grabs shotgun in the G6, burnin’ that two dollar gas goin’ lickety-split up I69. Thru the lovely burghs of Markle, Ossian, and Poe and into the east side of Hoagland.
A light crowd when we arrived. The Crabby Old Farts made the run up from Mayberry as well. The Line formed at 19:20 hours and by the time they were done picking, it was another Natural Sellout for the Three Kings. A particularly good looking crowd tonite, made even more so by the arrival of The Coors Light Girls. They got there around 9:00 and were able to catch “The Most Exciting Half Hour In Sports” (if not the most disgusting half hour in sports). We believe they’ll be fine. They seemed very fit.
Another night with three of the four Finalists coming from the Second Half. #46 does the Polish Corvette (first race second half, first semi, first place), #53 Podiums for the second race in a row, and Mike rides #31 to a nice $10 discount from his tab.
The Crabs make the trek back to Crabsville on September 12th on a Board that has yet to be determined. Pick ‘em at 7:30 (or 7:20), race ‘em at 8. Until then, he’s Sonny Starr.
