It was Little Feat on German television. I think it was the same tour that the “Waiting For Columbus” live album came from. These guys were great! Easily a top five band. Anyway, I’ve dropped some Youtube clips in the text here for your enjoyment. Killer stuff.
Another fantastic night in Hoagland. Beautiful women, handsome men, and an enthusiasm for Crab Racing that borders on the pathological. The Three Kings is rocking. A 49 Crab Natural Sellout with another 20 to 30 Non-Racing Spectators. The Superhero Board is out tonite, with Spiderman, Superman, Batman, and all the Secondary Superheroes as well. We have Mighty Mouse and Underdog in the First Half and Sweet Home Chicago and a little Mack in the Second. The staff is courteous, as well as cleanly, and it looks like Dave won’t be joining us (not that it isn’t cleanly and/or courteous when he is here). Jill-Bob appears to have everything well in hand. Sara without an h celebrates her birthday (thanx for the cake) with Another Sara with no h and a several well groomed friends. I think this one’s done. Here’s one more from Little Feat. The Crabs make the trek back to Crabsville on December 5th on a Board that has yet to be determined. Pick ‘em at 7:30 (or 7:20), race ‘em at 8. Until then, he’s Sonny Starr.
