Hoy hoy CrabHeads! Well here we are, the end of November. Every year, three titles epitomize the pinnacle of racing success. The Peoples Champion was crowned last week in Florida and the Formula One Champion (the other people's Champion) was crowned in Abu Dahbi on Sunday. That leaves one major racing title up for grabs, The Team of the Year award in Folkie's Crab Racing League, better known as The Cowboy Cup.
After 24 rounds, with only two nights of racing remaining, the 2014 has come down to three teams- The First Place Duck Butter Racing at 171 points, Zak & His Harem a scant 9 points back, and The Unicorn Party in third at 156 points. With 29 points available in each round, it looks like it could go down to the last race.
The December schedule looks like this- Wednesday December 3rd at the FolkieDome, Friday December 5th in Poe at The Hi Ho Again, then at The New Hideaway in Bluffton on Saturday December 12th (special 2:00 PM matinee show), and finally, wrapping up the season on Wednesday December 17th back in Marion at Folkie's.
So come to one show or come see them all, but make sure you Catch the Crabs before the end of the year! Pick 'em at 7:30, race 'em at 8:00. See you there!!
